Another day another phone. Wynncom has introduced a low priced QWERTY phone, the Y50.
Unsurprisingly the device resembles a Blackberry (this seems to be a norm these days), though we admit that Y50 is one of the best looking QWERTY phones available in low price. With rubber and metal molded body, Y50 is looks quite good.

The first thing you’ll notice, is it’s keyboard. All the keys are spread across the lower front. The upper portion consists of a 2.4in TFT screen. Instead of a D-Pad the Y50 features a trackball. A 2 megapixel camera and a 3.5mm audio out port complete the picture.
The interface focuses on the social media front, with all icons right on the desktop. As we mentioned earlier that the most noticeable part of Y50 is its keyboard. We tried an extended session of texting and browsing. The keys except the spacebar are soft and easy to type-on but surprisingly the del/backspace key is absent.

Also typing special character is a pain, as every time you turn on the special character mode you have to turn if off to continue typing.
Broadly we found nothing negative in Y50 for the price you pay. Calling and network reception is decent. Camera is decent and so is the audio capabilities.
The Y50 comes with a 1000mAh battery and supports upto 16GB of memory via external micro SD card.
